Linda West is a versatile and motivated artist who has studied traditional sculpture for 22 years. Linda studied sculpture in both the United States and Europe after graduating from Brigham Young University. Her work can be found in both private and public spaces throughout the United States and abroad.
Linda developed a passion for the arts as a native of the Pacific Northwest, studying all over the United States and abroad. She studied classical artists during her travels to Italy, which influenced her work. Her passion for sculpting led her to study in France and, later, at the Scottsdale Artists’ School in Arizona, where she received the Best and Brightest Fine Art Connoisseur Award of Excellence.
Her sculptures have been shown at the White River Valley Museum, Sculpture in the Park in Loveland, Colorado for seven consecutive years, the Mountain Oyster Club’s Contemporary Western Juried Art Show, and, most recently, the Tucson Desert Art Museum’s American Women Artists’ show, Under a Vast Sky, where she received the Distinguished Achievement Award.
